About PeekCast

We're a small team of Twitch viewers who got tired of the same problem: knowing there was amazing content out there on Twitch, but not being able to find it. Twitch is incredible — but browsing by category only gets you so far when the thing you care about cuts across multiple games, multiple streamers, and multiple days.

So we built PeekCast. It lets anyone create a custom "event" — a curated feed of live streams and videos pulled together by the filters you care about. Tags, categories, specific streamers, title keywords — mix and match however you want, and share the link with your community.

Why we built this

Honestly? Pinball. And retro games.

We love watching pinball tournaments on Twitch. We're huge fans of retro gaming events like the Big20, where streamers come together to celebrate classic games in ways that are genuinely fun to watch. But finding all the relevant streams for something like that? It was a mess. You'd have to check multiple categories, search for specific streamers, and hope you didn't miss anything.

PeekCast started as a way to solve that problem for ourselves — a single page where we could see every Big20 stream in one place, without hunting through Twitch manually. Then we realized other communities had the same problem. Speedrunning marathons, cozy game jams, fighting game weeklies, charity events — any time people want to follow a cross-streamer, cross-category event on Twitch, they need something like this.

What we believe

Twitch is genuinely one of a kind. There's nowhere else on the internet where live communities form around shared interests this naturally — whether it's a niche retro gaming event, a charity marathon, or a tournament no one outside the scene has heard of.
Twitch viewers can benefit from better discovery tools. The content is already there — the problem is finding it.
Communities should be able to curate their own experience. If you run a tournament or event, you should have a shareable page that collects all the streams in one place.
It should be free and easy. Creating an event takes a minute. No payments, no gatekeeping.
